Sheltered and Supported Housing
For older tenants, St Georges provides specialist housing in a number of Sheltered Housing schemes, each with
24-hour emergency care alarm cover and a Scheme Co-ordinator, who looks after one or more schemes.
Sheltered Housing provides older residents with a comfortable, manageable and secure home of their own; preserving their privacy, dignity and independence, whilst giving them ready access to additional support when they need it.
The Scheme Co-ordinator maintains daily contact with residents and can organise a whole range of additional services to help.
However, it should be realised that sheltered housing is not intended, and not designed, to provide nursing care.
For further information Contact the Sheltered housing team, based at SGCH Ltd head office in Dunton Court, Laindon.
