Getting Involved – putting residents at the heart of what we do


It is vitally important to St Georges Community Housing that we provide a top notch housing service all our customers can take pride in.

We can only truly achieve this with the help and involvement of our tenants and leaseholders. To continuously maintain and improve our services we need to pay attention to their needs and priorities.

That is why we actively encourage tenants and leaseholders to tell us what they think we are doing well and what we need to improve upon.

To encourage this we provide a range of different ways in which tenants and leaseholders can keep us informed and be involved in the future planning and improvement of services:
  • Community Panels - become a member of a Community Panel, (everybody is welcome to attend the meetings).
  • Surveys and questionnaires - your opportunity to give us your views on matters affecting tenants and leaseholders in writing, rather than by being part of a group that meets regularly
  • Focus groups - join a Focus Group investigating a specific area of our services looking for possible improvements, eg. Estate Cleaning
  • Service Panels - participate in a Service Panel which meets regularly to review the performance of various services, e.g. Repairs, Sheltered Housing
  • Mystery shoppers - be a trained volunteer

We welcome enquiries from residents who would like to join us.

All necessary training and support will be freely given.
