St Georges Community Housing - Board Members
St Georges Community Housing Limited is managed by a board of directors.
The Board numbers a total of 15 members, of which;
- one third are Basildon District resident members
- one third are independent members, selected for a particular expertise they will supply as a member of the Board.
- one third are Basildon Council nominated members.
We want to encourage all our tenants and leaseholders to take an interest in the Board of Directors, their meetings and the work they do, so here's a short introduction to each of them.

(Board Chair) | John lives in Pitsea and spent many years in local government at top level.
He is Chair of Trustees for a local charity that provides services to the elderly, and a board member of Interlock!, a valued neighbourhood management project.
His experience at senior level means he has the skills and knowledge to manage a large organisation and work with a wide range of public bodies. |

His experience of performance management, policy, strategy development and housing management is supported by a master’s degree in Business Administration. Mark is a member of the Chartered Institute of Managers and has links with the wider Essex business community. |

| Vicki has lived in Wickford for almost 30 years and has had a long career in social housing, which started at Basildon Council and then at a deprived London Borough.
Vicki has experience at all levels and has been involved in many of the changes to the Council brought in over the years. She has also been involved in setting up an ALMO in London and her focus is to work closely with residents to ensure that it is their needs and experience that drive the service delivery. |
