St Georges Community Housing - Responsibilities of the Board of Directors
The St Georges Board of Directors is responsible for:
- setting up and delivering business and development plans
- future strategic direction
- approving budgets
- monitoring performance
- making sure that everything the company does is legal.
The role of the Tenant, Leaseholder, and Independant Board members
Tenant, Leaseholder, and Independent Board members are:
- An equal part of the board team
- Play the same role and follow the same rules as other board members
- Bring a customer and external business challenge perspective to company decisions
- Act in the best interests of the company
As well as meeting and working together as a Board of Directors there are also sub-committees of the St georges Board which look in more detail at:
- Staffing
- Finance
- Performance
- Service Improvements and Audit & Risk
