Positive about Disabled People

  • To interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for a job vacancy and to consider each one on their abilities.
  • To ensure there is a mechanism in place to discuss at any time, and at least once a year, what can be done to make sure that every disabled employee can develop and use their abilities to the full.
  • To make every effort to ensure an employee can remain in employment should they become disabled.
  • To take action to ensure that all employees develop the appropriate level of disability awareness needed to make these commitments work.
