Basildon Careline is an emergency home alarm service that allows people to live independently while having easy access to help in the event of an emergency.
Careline is provided by St Georges Community Housing for residents of the Basildon District and the neighbouring districts of Rochford and Castle Point.
The service is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Careline is used by many different people within the community, although it is mainly the elderly and disabled who find it particularly beneficial.
Basildon Careline also supports sheltered housing tenants when Scheme Co-ordinators are off duty.
If you live in sheltered housing or a home that is alarm linked and an emergency arises when your Scheme Co-ordinator is off duty, then a Careline Officer will assess your situation and take action to help you.
Applications to join Careline.
We are currently able to offer the Careline service free of charge for the first 12 weeks.
