Careline and the Telecare Service Association...
 | The Telecare Services Association or TSA (formerly ASAP), is the representative body for the telecare industry within the UK. The TSA remit includes setting standards for professionalism, encouraging best practice and promoting a wider awareness of the telecare industry's role in meeting the real social needs of its users.
|
|
The role of the TSA is:
- to promote awareness of social alarms and the real contribution they can make to the social welfare and security of their users
- to develop best practice within the sector and encourage a continuing programme of service and product improvement among members
- to promote and deliver training for service providers.
TSA was also established to create a Code of Practice within the community alarm sector and to take part in negotiations with manufacturers.
TSA currently has around 250 members who account for approximately two thirds of the UK’s community alarm providers including Basildon Careline, which meets fully the TSA requirements for a community alarm monitoring service.
Basildon Careline continues to surpass the TSA minimum requirement of 98.5% of calls being answered within 60 seconds. For further information see our Core Service Standards.
